Descripción
Hair removal has been performed within beauty standards of women for centuries. The origin of this practice is unknown, but the importance of a soft and hairless body in the women of Ancient Egypt is well known, since it was associated with youth and innocence. To remove the body hair they used hair removal creams and wax made with a mixture of oil and honey, similar to what we know nowadays as oriental wax, Persian wax or sugar wax. Later, Greek and Turkish women, among others, copied this practice.
